Wrigley weekend

The Astros begin 3 games against at Wrigley this afternoon facing Glendon Rusch and the Cubs. On June 1, 2004, Glendon Rusch threw the 250th pitch ever to hit Craig Biggio. Rusch has hit 39 batters in his career, but only 1 this year (Juan Pierre).
Craig Biggio has never been hit by a pitch on September 23rd.

Chicago is the venue of the next plunking of our man "Target" and I suspect that today is the day. Seven opportunities for a game in which a Chicago pitcher can get the number up to 274 and ain't no reason why it couldn't happen in the game later this day.

I bet Junior's college fund on it (that's currently $67.84)

Well, I reckon Junior wasn't headed to college anyhow. I gotthe game and the city correct, I just got the batter wrong. Bagwell got plunked, Target didn't. Back to the drawing board. I'll keep you posted on developments as they transpire.
