I'm sure enough people will write about the Roger Clemens' teamates coming through with literal and figurative support in a moment when both Clemens and the Astros playoff chase really needed it. Enough other people will write about that so I can continue to focus on who has or hasn't hit Craig Biggio with a pitch. AJ Burnett didn't. He missed Biggio 15 times and gave up an RBI single to him. Neither did Chris Resop. He missed 5 times and walked Biggio.
Rookie Jason Vargas pitches tonight for the Marlins. He has never faced Craig Biggio, but he has already plunked 3 batters in his 13 appearance, and already has a complete game under his belt.
