283!!!

Jorge Julio threw Biggio's 283rd plunk on the first pitch of the bottom of the 5th. Julio joins Jay Witasick as the only pitchers who have plunked Biggio for both an American League and National League team.

Biggio is finally on the board for 2007!

And the 98th run scored off a plunk for his career.

I just saw it on TV and sent you a comment. When it happened I imemdiately thought of you and your blog.

Good to see someone else blogging the game life (or at least from the comfort of their living room).

Take care.

Mama done come a holerin’ and a fussin’ out to the shed to tell me Target done commenced the 2007 Plunking Cavalcade (her exact words). Now, don’t get me wrong, when Mama is in there at the sink washin’ up and she listens to the game on the radio machine I think that’s fine and dandy, but for some reason she never has understood I got me a radio machine hooked up out n the shed too so I listen out there when I go out to tinker after dinner. Anyhow, Target done got another plunking, so we are on our way. Feels good to be back on track and headed towards a bruise again.

EXCELLENT! Now I can finally open that bottle of "Biggio's First Plunk of 2007" whiskey I've been saving!

Go Craig!

The obvious question is to extrapolate the current rate of plunking to see on what date he will break the record, assuming that this is a linear function. I await with baited breath....
