Astros beat Reds, Biggio not plunked

A Reds starting pitcher hit a batter for the first time this season in last nights game, but it wasn't Craig Biggio. Brad Ausmus got hit by Kyle Lohse, but it was Astros starter Roy Oswalt cause most of the pain to batters last night, allowing just 1 run in 8 innings of work, and leading the Astros to a 3-1 win. Craig Biggio scored a run and drove in another, but his plunk total is still stuck at 283.

Tonight the Reds will send Eric Milton to the mound before leaving town. He hasn't hit anyone this year, but maybe he should try it since he also hasn't won a game. Not that plunking Biggio is a good way to get a win if you're a pitcher... pitchers who have plunked Biggio have only won 58 decisions in games when they've plunked Biggio, but have been tagged with a loss 94 times. Milton plunked 5 batters last year, and 33 in his career, but he has never hit an Astros batter.

Craig Biggio has never been hit by a pitch on May 3rd.

What is the latest date and game number for BGO to get his first plunk of a season?

In 1990 he didn't get hit until July 22nd, which was the Astros' 94th game. But he hasn't made it out of April without at least one plunk since 1993. There is some further information on the subject of first plunks of the year here.
