The Astros visit Bank One Ballpark tonight to take on the 52-55 Arizona Diamondbacks with Claudio Vargas on the mound. Vargas has never hit Craig Biggio with a pitch but he appears to be on pace to set a new personal record for hitting batters this season. He hit 7 in 2003 and 2004, but he already has 5 this year. Perhaps Craig Biggio can help him out.
Biggio has been hit by 3 pitches on August 2nd. Jose Rijo plunked him on August 2, 1992, and Mark Gardner hit him twice on August 2, 1996.
