Dedicated to Craig Biggio and his (probably unintentional) Quest to break the all time major league career record for getting hit by pitches.
Jon Lieber pitches today for the Phillies facing. He plunked Biggio on May 9, 1995, but has thrown 1,741 consecutive innings since then without hitting Craig Biggio with a pitch. The Phillies have thrown 1,614.1 non-Biggio plunking innings since the last time they hit him, August 17, 2004.
