The scurvy Pirates plundered no booty last night, and didn't hit Craig Biggio with a single pitch, nor steal any of his rum or Dubloons. It was Rick White who would be walkin' the plank after blowing the Pirates lead in the 8th.
Today's Pirates starter, Kip Wells hit Craig Biggio with a pitch on July 12, 2003 and tomorrow's scheduled starter, Dave Williams did the same on May 17, 2002. Biggio has been hit once on August 13 - in 1992 by Frank Castillo, but he has never been hit on August 14th.
