Proof positive, there is a definite correlation betwixt wearing the new T shirts and the incidence of plunkings. I done had mine on and I know it had an impact on the trajectory of the ball. It’s kind of like when them scientists figured out and then proved that light waves bend when they go past a planet, well, I done figured out that there is a correlation between wearing the HBP shirts and our man “Target” actually getting plunked – now all I gots to do is work out the math to prove it. I’m headed out to the shed.
Is there a nobel prize in the field of lucky t-shirts?
How many runs did Hughie Jennings score after having reached base via plunking? How about Don Baylor? Is there anybody who has scored 100 runs in that fashion?
