Damn, 212 pitchers have all hit him with the first pitch of the second inning? You'd think by now they'd figure out the pattern. ;-P
Uh oh... the punctuation police found me.
It was the increase in folks wearing the new BGO HBP T shirts what got the ball to veer in on him and whack a good one on his appendage. Thank you to all folk what took my sage advice and slipped in to their game-viewing T shirt for this all-important plunking. I reckon we could get a couple more in during the final two games of the season if folk would keep them shirts on.
So we have a Biggio HBP and a Biggio HR in the same game. How common is that?
It was the 19th game in which he was plunked and homered, but he's homered in 4 2-plunk games. So, that was the 23rd plunk in a game in which he also homered. But, he's never been plunked in a multi-homer game.
