For all you Friday the 13th lovers - or haters. (Not that baseball players are superstitious or anything).
Before today, Craig Biggio has played 13 games on Friday the 13th. His batting average in those games is only .245, and he has been hit by a pitch just once. The one pitcher to plunk Biggio on a Friday the 13th? JASON! That's right, Jason Simontacchi on Friday, September 13th 2002. Guys named Jason have hit Craig Biggio with a pitch 4 times. Simontacchi had another on 5/28/2003, Jason Bere hit him on 8/30/1997, and Jason Schmidt got him on 9/17/1997.

I'm not trying to predict anything, but I'd watch out for Giants reliever Jason Christiansen today. He could become the first Nebraskan ever to plunk Biggio.
