Biggio survived 14 crazy Dontrelle Willis leg kicks without getting hit by a pitch, and took 3 strikes from Todd Jones to end the game. I would have been really impressed if he could have leaned into one of those intentional walk pitches in the 2nd inning.
Brad Hennessey pitches for the Giants tonight and will try to avoid hitting Craig Biggio. In his 8 career games to date, none of his 733 pitches have hit anyone.
Biggio has been hit twice on May 13th, by Chris Hammond of the Marlins in 1998 and by Salomon Torres of Pittsburgh in 2003. The Astros won both games.
