Clemens plunked, 9 short of record

Roger Clemens was hit by a pitch for the first time in his long career last night. He had tallied 149 hit batters before being hit himself, which was 9 short of Nolan Ryan's total. Ryan hit 158 batters and was never plunked himself, making him the all time leader in batters hit by a pitcher who has never been hit. Thanks to Kip Wells, that's one record Clemens won't break.
Al Leiter (114 hit batters) and Chan Ho Park (113 hit batters) are the next closest active players to that particular record of Ryan's. Neither has been hit by a pitch.

But which pitcher holds the record for being plunked the most times?

And while we're asking questions, my wife wants to know how many times has Biggio been hit by a pitch by a pitcher from his home state of New York? What state has produced the most plunkers?
