Dodgey weekend

Craig Biggio homered off Derek Lowe but did not get hit by a pitch in last night's pitchers duel. Today he'll face Edwin Jackson. Danny Jackson, and Michael Jackson have plunked Biggio, but never Edwin Jackson. And no Tito.
Paul Byrd hit Craig Biggio with a pitch on August 27, 1997.

Sunday the Astros are scheduled to face Jeff Weaver. Weaver has never plunked Biggio, but he is tied for the National League lead in hit batsmen this season with 13. Mark Gardner hit Biggio with a pitch on August 28, 1992 and Lance Davis plunked Biggio on August 28, 2001.

WE WUZ ROBBED! Biggio just got hit by a pitch but the ump ruled that he didn't make an attempt to move, so no HBP but merely ball 1. Unfair.

Just got back from that game at Dodger Stadium. I don't think I've ever booed harder in my life. And I'm a Red Sox fan, so that's saying a lot.

I think it's a conspiracy and today's home plate ump was in on it...me thinks he's related to Tommy Tucker...didn't want Bidge to tie for 2nd on his watch!

I think it's a conspiracy....the homeplate ump has to be related to Tommy Tucker...he wasn't going to allow Bidge to tie Tucker for 2nd place on his watch!
