The Astros play the first of three games in Colorado tonight facing former Astro Jason Hirsh. Hirsh hasn't faced the Astros since being traded to the Rockies in the jason Jennings deal. He could join Mark Portugal and Ron Villone as the only pitchers to plunk Biggio the year after being his teammate.


Craig Biggio has been hit once on June 5th, in 2003 by Willis Roberts of the Orioles. That was the only game Craig Biggio has ever left with a plunk related injury, but he was back in the lineup the next day. Biggio left the game with a bruised left calf and was pinch-run for by Colin Porter.
